We gathered a lot of hosting provider services at one place

The provider of cloud solutions and hosting that serves more than 60% of all Belarussian sites.

The goal

To develop the personal account that will be easy to use and that will really give the company space for scaling.

How it is now

How it was

Hoster.by is a provider for everybody. It offers hosting and domains to individual customers and provides complex services concerning creation of cloud services and IT infrastructure reliability to corporations. 

The old personal account of Hoster.by could not cope with the company’s enlargement, because it was designed to do a smaller amount of services and simpler business processes.

The focus of the new personal account is made on convenient payment and simple management.

We design the navigation system and unify management

The important things go first. We analyze statistics, interview customers and design the users’ experience so that they can sort out all products easily and find what they need quickly.

All accounts are at one place

The most common scenario for using any account is to log in, analyze the situation and pay. Bills were scattered across different panels before. You had to waste a lot of time in order to pay for hosting, renew a domain or buy an SSL-certificate. There is no such problem on the new account — all accounts are centralized.

Hosting, domains, VDS and clouds differ in functions, additions and settings. But all objects are unified and have the same control method, so that Hoster.by clients won’t waste time looking into the interface.

Additional services that increase the domain ownership security are combined with settings. Adding of services concerning a domain leads to a customers’ rise, helps them manage and protect the domain in a responsible way. Due to these services Hoster.by can successfully sell related services at a marketable place.

To motivate customers to buy new services of the company is an important function of the account. We develop game mechanics and cross-selling in order to fulfill this intention. Customers will obtain rewards in the form of achievements* for the purchase of additional services and enhancements: SSL-certificate, hiding Whois data or an additional protection. The end goal is to gain all achievements.
*This system has not been implemented on the Hoster.by account yet, but it is planned to be done in the future.

Cloud management and its tariffs are different from the virtual hosting. Customers pay for units (the units of the server’s performance). We organize information in such a way that all important information can be in sight.
We show the balance and costs in the current month at once. Customers can quickly replenish the account or take the deferred payment
If cloud resources are spent evenly and predictably — the client is calm as a cucumber
Back-ups require some resources. The visibility of information concerning the depth of version control, the volume of occupied space and the cost of resources help the administrator to keep the balance of cost and reserve

В первую очередь отображается баланс счета и сколько уже было потрачено в текущем месяце. Есть возможность пополнить счет или взять обещанный платеж.

Никакие форс-мажоры не страшны: можно быстро вернуться к проверенной версии сайта.
