How we designed a landing page and set up a base for a strong upcoming brand identity

Alvo is all about fresh and nutritious food within walking distance. The company provides its hand-prepared dishes through smart kiosks, and all you need to get it is to use a mobile app. Culinary experts and nutrition enthusiasts curate menus. Alvo's chief worked in Michelin-starred restaurants.

The project launches in Chicago and Frankfurt.

Wow, looks like they have so many options

Alvo doesn't promote any specific diet, but provides menus with no sugar, meat, gluten etc. 

BIO, obviously

The company is focuced on clean bio products. They use only ingredients from local farms and manufacturers. All the foods are delivered daily to ensure freshness.

We highlighted how easy it is to use the service and skipped any technical details: 

  1. Just download the app and create an account. 
  2. Scan QR-code on a fridge.
  3. Enjoy the meal!

We figured out that the website works for three different types of audience. It's time to rank them according to their conversion impact.

1. Clients: existing and potential

Their aim is to get foods from smart fridges in Chicago and Frankfurt. We show the map to the existing users and the simplicity of the solution together with the link to download the app — to the potential ones. 

2. Partners

They are ready to set a smart fridge at their office, university, or trade center. A target action here is submitting a request.

3. Investors

Companies and people who will help Alvo to grow. The target action — sending an email.

Alvo target audience includes young people who are committed to healthy lifestyle. We created custom illustrations to provide brand's mood and values and make it closer to the customers.

Typography

An accidents grotesque Montserrat Alternates took the place of the main font. It's free, that is really good for a young business.

Bonus — a food photo guide

We created a detailed guide to help Alvo keeping their photographs of healthy food bright and attractive. It allows any team member to turn a smartphone picture into a good looking illustration.

The result

Three weeks is enough to prototype, design and make layouts for a website that stands out and saves money for a young ambitious team. 

Well structured, it allows to easily learn all the benefits of the product. The existing fonts, colors, illustrations, icons can work as a strong background for a brand book in the future. They all can be used for promo, SMM, packaging and any marketing activities.
